My sister's quilt

When my sister turned 50 I decided to make her a quilt with a few memories in it.

I think this is the most common purpose for printing with BJS 2000, and it certainly came in handy for me.

I found some black and white photos from childhood and youth, scanned them and fixed them up in different ways, and then all were converted to a blue colour to fit with the overall plan for the quilt.
bodil She had recenly moved to Hammerfest in the north of Norway, so I thought the Northern Light could be a fitting theme for the quilt.

I selected the fabrics and worked bargello-style to create the sweep of light.

Then I inserted the pictures and added the darker stripes to complete the top.
