Marianne Gutter from the Netherlands
..has made several of my patterns.
Last October she sent me this beautiful variation of the "In My Heart Quilt".
She also wrote:
'Dear Eldrid
I send you some pictures of my quilt 'In my heart'.
I didn't use photo's printed on fabric, but after the slaps are little broches from my childhood and lace, that I made later.
I enjoyed making the quilt.

This is what she wrote to me in 2008 after making "Christmas lasts till Easter":
Hallo Eldrid,
In December 2006 I got your pattern, last May I started to sew. I liked to work on it and I thought you have made a wonderful design. The way you described the whole way of making it, was very good. Thanks, I send you the fotos of the result.
....
I could take all kinds of fabrics, my son is always buying all kinds of colors. I only bought the red silk in China and the blue cornerfabric here in Drenthe.
......
I am proud of it.
